Hello, I'm Zoe

Founder of Snooze & Poos

I'm a mum to our beautiful 6-year-old daughter, a registered paediatric nurse with over 13 years' experience, including 6 years as a clinical nurse specialist in children's bladder and bowel health and an accredited sleep consultant.

Supporting families through sleep and potty learning is work that's deeply personal to me.

I Thought I'd Have Motherhood Figured Out

I had been a qualified paediatric nurse for six years when I became a mother. I'd worked with hundreds of families and felt like I got it - but I still found myself questioning every decision.

The exhaustion was intense, but what surprised me most was the self-doubt. I read the books, searched online in the middle of the night, and tried to piece together advice that never quite fit.

What that time taught me has shaped everything about how I work with families today: knowledge alone isn't enough.  When you're exhausted, more information just creates more noise.

Reaching out for support from a sleep consultant changed everything - not just our nights, but how I felt as a parent.

No longer exhausted.
No longer questioning everything.

That moment stayed with me, and I knew I wanted to help other families feel that way too.

Why Sleep and Potty Learning?

Alongside my own motherhood journey, I spent six years working as a paediatric bladder and bowel clinical nurse specialist, and I continue to do so, supporting hundreds of families through potty learning challenges.

What I noticed was the same feeling showing up again and again, whether families were struggling with sleep or toileting:

"I should be able to do this. Why does it feel so hard?"

Different challenges. Same overwhelm.

That's why my work focuses on both - two areas that can quietly consume a parent's energy, confidence, and mental load.

How I Work

I combine clinical expertise, professional training, and lived experience to support families in a calm, non-judgemental way.

I don't believe in quick fixes or rigid methods.

I believe in understanding the whole picture - your child, your family, your values and giving you clear, practical guidance you can actually follow.

I also have the privilege of being the lead potty training trainer for The Sleep Consultant Academy, supporting other sleep consultants with complex cases.

What I Believe

Asking for help isn't a failure - it's one of the best things you can do for yourself and your family.

Most parents I work with have already tried everything before they find me, and they aren't doing anything wrong.

They just need the right support, and someone in their corner to help them find it.
